Why a deposit, and can I get it back?+
The deposit is the clinic's own first-consult fee. It comes off your treatment bill, or counts as the consultation fee if you only consult. If the clinic does not confirm within 24 hours or cancels, you are refunded in full automatically. You can also cancel for a full refund up to 12 hours before the visit.
How much of my information does the clinic get?+
Only your passport name, sex, date of birth and nationality, the treatment and visit time you asked for, and the messages and photos you send. Phone number, email, messenger IDs and passport number are never shared.
I speak no Korean at all. Is that fine?+
Yes. The whole app, from search to aftercare, is in your language and chat with the clinic is translated automatically. At the clinic you just show the visit screen in the app.
Who do I talk to if something goes wrong?+
Booking, refund and contact issues: in-app support, in your language. For disputes about medical outcomes, the app points you to official bodies such as the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency. Klinikoa does not provide medical services itself.
